Tuition and Costs
We understand that education represents a considerable investment in your future, and want to help you achieve your goals. Students enrolled in the MA in Sustainable Energy (online) program may qualify for financial aid, and military veterans may be eligible for additional support through the Yellow Ribbon program. Note that the residency fees cover the cost of most meals and lodging during the on-campus experiences. Students are responsible for the cost of their flight.

In order to receive a fee waiver, you must submit an official document confirming your participation in the appropriate program to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will waive the fee once the paperwork is received by our office and your application has been submitted. Unfortunately, we do not grant fee waivers for financial hardship.

Yellow Ribbon Program
Johns Hopkins University is a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon program that enhances financial access for student veterans. The program currently provides up to $12K in additional support to military veterans who are not active duty and have a 100% GI Bill benefit rate.

Admitted students are required to pay a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure their place in the program. The deposit is due approximately two or four weeks from the date the admission decision is released and is applied toward tuition expenses.
